Annual DAMP Evening 2015

To be held in R127 in the Rutherford McGowan Building, the Crichton Campus,
Dumfries, courtesy of the Solway Centre for Environment and Culture.

6.30 YOUR MAPS
YOUR MAPS in the company of Graham Roberts (the Ewart Library Archivist) and
Jane Brown (Head of Maps and Plans for the National Records of Scotland).
The invited map owners will introduce their maps
and then Graham and Jane will explain in more detail.
7.30 SUPPER
8.00 THE 3 ANNUAL DAMP LECTURE
This will be given by Jane Brown of The National Records of Scotland. She is
currently the Head of Maps and Plans at National Records of Scotland (NRS), where
they hold many estate plans for regions all over Scotland, including Nithsdale.
Jane has been with the NRS at Register House in Edinburgh for over 20 years, holding
a variety of posts, including Senior Court Archivist.

There will be time for questions afterwards

but we need to be out of the buildings by 9pm
For everything the cost will be 20 per head. This will purchase your annual
subscription (12) and your supper, and will make a contribution towards the
