Open the glove compartment door.

2. R
 emove the screw retaining the damper rod to the
righthand side of the glove compartment door, then
detach the damper rod, Figure 1.

3. P
 ush inward at each side of the glove compartment
door to disengage the retainers, then lower the door.
4. T
 hrough the glove compartment opening, remove
the filter cover from the filter outlet.
5. P
 ull the cabin air filter element from the filter outlet,
Figure 2.
6. Install the new cabin air filter element into the filter
outlet. Ensure the filter element Up and arrow marks
are facing upward, Figure 2.

7. Install the filter cover.

8. P
 ush inward at each side of the glove compartment
door, then raise the door into place.
9. P
 osition the damper rod to the righthand side of the
glove compartment door, then install the retaining
screw.
10. Close the glove compartment door.
