pursuing a career in Physical Therapy

Where am I now?
I am currently a sophmore at Buford High School.
The classes I am taking at BHS will help me pursue a
doctorate degree in Physical Therapy.

After I graduate HS I will Attend

The University Of Georgia
I will pursue a B.S. degree in Biology
It will take me four years to get a major
UGA costs 25,134 dollars for a nine month academic year.

After receiving a B.S. in biology

I will attend the Medical College of Georgia
At MCG I will get my doctorate of Physical Therapy
It will take me an additional 3 years after my B.S. to get my
doctorate
The tuition is 5,494 dollars for a twelve hour course, there is
also a mandatory fee of 970 dollars every semester.

Requirements for Physical

Therapist
Physical Therapist must pass state boards to get licensed
The average salary of Physical Therapist is 84,860 dollars
per year

Where I will work

I plan to work at Athens Orthopedic center in Athens, GA
I want to work at AOC because it is a sports based practice
that focuses on getting athletes back to full health.
