I am Mequanent Shikabaw from Ethiopia, I completed my BEd degree in major Physical

Education and Sports with minor Biology, Addis Ababa University, as well as MSc degree in
Coaching and Therapy Science from Haramaya University with 95.25% grade. Currently, I am
working in the University of Gondar as an Assistant Professor in the Sport Science department.
My research interest is “Evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of inclusive physical
education for the individual and social well-being among students with disabilities in Ethiopian
primary schools; a foundation to achieving the 2030 sustainable development goal”.
The reason why I am interested to study PhD in Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education
(kinesiology) is: First and foremost, I have a strong interest in physical and health education field
of study; I believe studying in such well-organized school will obtaining further knowledge to
carrying out quality research for a country like Ethiopia devoid of such program means a lot; I do
have research experience when I was a master students and working as an Assistant professor.
Likewise, undertaking further Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education programs will
help me acquire deep knowledge and experience in conducting academic research.
I wish to begin this PhD program in 2023 and would be very interested in working under your
supervision. I would appreciate it if you could review the attached CV and let me know what the
