I Manoj Kumari, reside at Jaipur. I was born on 22 January 1995. I am an Indian citizen by birth holding
Passport No. V9279324. Talking about my Family, we are five members in my family including me. My
father's name is Mr.Ramveer Singh and my mother's name is Manju Devi. My parents have always
supported me and try to guide me regarding my studies and future. I have very high dreams for my
better career.

I completed my secondary education from Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education in 2009 and senior
secondary in 2014 in Medical Stream. After completing my school education, I prepared for competitive
tests like AIPMT, NEET, etc. Later I got enrolled myself in five years bachelor program in Naturopathy
and Yoga Sciences and successfully completed it in 2022. After that for pursuing master’s degree, I
started looking for viable options through exploring internet and meeting career counselors. Through
my research and proper review, I decided to continue my studies in public health field. As, In this day
and age, this is not only a prestigious profession but is also related to take care of better health of
people and improving their overall quality of life. Public health is global so is one of the fastest growing
sectors. With advanced and sedentary lifestyle, people have become more health conscious. This has
resulted in health centered people and improvised health care system and health promotional clubs and
activities in India. This industry makes an important contribution for the progression of economy as
healthy people live longer and stays productive. The field has been developed into multifaceted
industries and has a lot to offer to an appropriate individual. So, I decided to make my career in this
field. With proper consideration, I decided to study abroad as international education will give the
amount of knowledge to create the better possibilities for successful career settlement and has strong
academic reputation compared to Indian education. Finally, I decided to pursue Master of Public Health
from United Kingdom(Birmingham City University).

Before deciding to study in United Kingdom, I searched various good Indian institutes like Indian
Institute of Public Health, IIHMR University, Jaipur, Hindu College, Hansraj College of DU, Tata Institute
of Social Sciences, All India Institute of Medical Science- Jodhpur, Punjab University etc. but in these top
quality federations, the admission is granted based on various entrance tests like AJEE, TISSNET, etc and
aptitude tests . These entrance tests are hard to crack and even after clearing these tests, there is no
surety that I will be able to get in these universities because there are limited seats available due to
reservation systems. The admission process in India is very competitive and unrealistic. Even after
scoring good grades, students are selected according to the caste system. Moreover, Indian Education
System focuses less on practical aspects whereas Australian Education Providers are much more
intriguing towards practical skills and upgrading the level of learning which will enhance my overall
personality and also help me get good jobs in India. My desired course needs hands on practice as I have
to be well versed in tackling solutions against diseases and preventing them. So, I choose United
Kingdom for my further education.
My chosen course Master of Public Health is relevant to my previous study. In order to make a
difference, studying this degree will give me the opportunity to learn and expand my horizon of
knowledge and become part of cutting-edge research in influencing the world's future. I will get depth
knowledge of Health disciplines, which will tailor my interests and helps me in career settlement. Public
health is a division of the health field that focuses on populations, and prevention and health promotion
rather than individuals and treatment of medical conditions. Public health professionals work to prevent
health conditions from occurring or re-occurring by implementing educational programs, creating
policies, providing services, regulating health systems, and performing rigorous research. The main goal
is to both prevent illness and disease and help individuals adopt healthy behaviors. The course will
provide me with deep knowledge of health management. Further, I will be able to provide easy,
affordable access to health care to people when they need health care professionals' attention. I will

While studying this course I will learn to monitor health status to identify community health problems. I
will also learn to Diagnose and investigate health problems and health hazards in the community. I will
understand about the origin and evolution of public health and its principles. I will learn about various
factors like biological, social, environmental etc. that affect health along with health patterns and trends
in the society. This course will fill me with knowledge to enforce laws and regulations that protect health
and ensure safety. I will be able to link people to needed personal health services and assure the
provision of healthcare. I will gain an insight into determinants that affects the health along with social
epidemiology, social justice, partnership development and participatory health research. Furthermore, I
will learn to understand various principles of health protection and the practical implications along with
emergency preparedness and healthcare scenarios. With the help of research based project, I will be
able to put my gained knowledge into practice that will further help me to become work ready graduate.

After acknowledging all these factors, I have decided to continue this course.

After completing my course, I will come back to India and will start my career in my home country, India.
As we are aware of the involvement of health sciences in scientific research is reached to the extent that
the health safety of developing and developed nations can be estimated through the level of
advancement of the health sciences of that particular nation. My home country is having lots of career
opportunities in my chosen field and has created a great demand for Health care professionals in India.
In fact, according to Forbes, 13 of the 20 fastest-growing jobs are in healthcare field. Health graduates
are highly required in huge hospitals where ample people are treated for various diseases by doctors
from different specialties. And I strongly believe that Birmingham City University would inculcate in me,
the values and skills required to be a promising practitioner of public health through the master’s
program. Therefore, I request you to weigh my application in light of an ambitious individual.
