Shearer Clearers are used in under-

ground mining to assist with maintaining a safe work environment for

employees. High levels of coal dust
cause health and safety issues due to
inhalation into the workers lungs and
by reducing visibility.
The Shearer Clearer is fitted to underground miners and sprays water
onto the coal surface as the miner is
working to dampen the coal and
reduce dust emissions.
