The software engineering team at Herrmann International is a growing group of dedicated
individuals, working to build out a next generation technical platform to enable Herrmann's
growth. We're not afraid to work with cutting edge technologies and have the flexibility and
autonomy to pursue multiple technology stacks and approaches. If you join our team you'll have
the opportunity to provide direction and input at every level of the process, a strong voice in the
pick of new tools and frameworks.
We're looking for
A developer with at least 1 year of either front- or back-end development experience (ideally
both); specifically, familiarity and skills with the following frameworks and tools:
Ruby on Rails
HTML/CSS
One or more JavaScript development frameworks (Angular, React, Ember, Meteor, etc.)
Familiarity with Mac or Linux based software development environments
Familiarity with Git-based source control and workflows
Nice to have:
Experience with PostgreSQL
Experience Automated deployment tools (Ansible, Docker, Capistrano, etc.)
Experience with remote / virtual working environments
