Team Handball
Team handball is a combination of basketball
and soccer.
There are six players on a team: 5 runners and
1 goalie.
The game is started with a jump ball in the
center of the court where the jumper tips the
ball to a teammate.
A team member can move the ball up the court
by dribbling 3 times or running 3 times or 3
steps, or passing the ball to a teammate.
The defense cannot attack the offense when
they are dribbling or have possession of the
ball.
The defense can steal the ball only when the
offense is attempting to pass the ball to a
teammate or score.
The goalie is the only person in the goalie area.
The goalie is the only person aloud to touch the
ball in the goalie area.

 To score, the offense throws the ball into the

goal.
Once there is a score the goalie gets the ball
out of the net and continues playing by
throwing the ball to a teammate.
If the ball goes out of bounds off of one team, it
is the other teams ball on the sideline.
