CONCLUSION

In conclusion, it showed that student with CGPA of 3.0 to 3.5 and 3.5 and above
was quite similar in term of spending time on internet in which more than 9 hours per
day. Students with CGPA below than 3.0 were the least which is less than 4 hours per
day. From the analysis, this study found that, the most frequent activities on the internet
among 3SKKK students is entertainment followed by study, social and online game.
Overall, the finding shows non relation between lower grades in academic achievement
on their pattern of internet usage.

RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that this study should be replicated, using a bigger population
in which represent the whole student of chemical engineering students in order to get
more realistic data whether internet effect their academic performance . Besides, a
gender based study should be conducted and compare the pattern of internet usage and
their activities on internet, study its effect on academic performance of both gender.
Moreover, this work can be improved by conducting the study throughout the week
including the weekends in order to get more accurate data analysis. It is also
recommended that others activities should be taken into account and study its effect on
students academic performance.
