ABSTRACT
Catch the rat is a simple android game.
The user has to tap on the rat with the help

of touch screen.
The game can be used as a stress buster and
also to pass the time.

INTRODUCTION
Catch the rat is a graphic rich game designed using

Android Studio for android operating system.

Whenever the user taps on the rat the score

increases by one , on mishits the score decreases by 1.

The game is all about catching a rat which moves randomly on

the screen.
If the user clicks on the rat at the right moment then the
score increases.
The game works for a specified period of time (1 minute or 2
minutes etc) and then the final score is displayed on the
screen.
The game can be used to attract children of age group 3-10
years

SCOPE
The game has variable scopes.
It could be used as stress buster for any individual.
However the main motive of the game is to make the

children familiarize with the touch screen controls.

OBJECTIVE
The screen displayed has a rat moving in all directions

randomly.
The user who is playing the game has to tap on the rat

using the touch screen

As soon as the user taps the rat at the right point the

score increases

EXISTING SYSTEM
There are many such games which can be used for

passing the leisure time.

But the fact that the games are graphic demanding as

well as take a lot of space has become very common.

PROPOSED SYSTEM
The system proposition is simple and interactive.
A user only needs to tap the image of the rat on the

screen which helps him to learn the input method of

the mouse.
The idea behind this is that the player coordinates

his mind and body at a time with utmost

concentration.

ADVANTAGES
The following are some of the advantages this game

can provide
Touch screen controls can be learnt.
Interactive
No age restrictions
Can be used to test the functionality of a

touchscreen.

DISADVANTAGES
Could cause health issues when used continuously
Though it does not utilize a lot of resources

continuous usage might cause heating issues
