Research
As shown here, a common trait amongst fashion magazines is having
the model front and centre to show the product theyre advertising or
because they are someone who happens to be well known. As well as
this, it commonly shows the top stories being included in the magazine
on the front cover and IF the person on the cover is famous it will
include their name and the story they will be included in.
Type: Spook, alternative fashion, music and lifestyle
magazine.
Publisher: Marcus Thompson
Pricing: single issue $17.50 - annual subscription
$79.00
Target audience: Spook magazine not only talks
about fashion but also talks about a variety of
things from tips on how to do things differently
within your life to new stories about celebrities.
Due to this I think the target audience would range
from teens to young adults 16 21.

Type: Auxiliary, alternative fashion, music and

lifestyle magazine.
Publisher: Independently published, this is
common for alternative magazines.
Pricing: $20.00 for each printed issue, one
every two months.
Target audience: Because Auxiliary magazine
includes a variety of topics and stories in their
magazines like lifestyle and music it suggests
that there would be a wide range of people
open to reading it. So I think the target
audience would be teens to young adults 16 21.
