    The Traffic Division of the Royal Bhutan Police is informing the public that Changlam Road will be closed to traffic on October 8th and 13th from 1pm to 8:30pm due to upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifying matches at Changlimithang between Bhutan and other countries. The Changlimithang Parking area B and Lungtenzampa MS School Parking have been designated for spectator parking. City buses traveling north will operate from a pick up point below Jigme Losel LS School while buses traveling south will operate from a pick up point below the Lungtenzampa Bridge on these dates. The public is requested to note these changes.

    PUBLIC APPEAL (TRAFFIC DIVISION, RBP HQS)

    The Traffic Division of the Royal Bhutan Police would like to inform the general public
    that on 8 and 13 October, 2015, Changlam Road shall remain closed to traffic
    movement from 1300 hours to 2030 hours in view of the upcoming FIFA World Cup
    qualifying match in Changlimithang between Maldives on October 8, 2015 and
    Bhutan and Hongkong on October 13, 2015.
    The Changlimithang Parking B and Lungtenzampa MS School Parking has been
    identified as general area parking for vehicles of the spectators coming to witness
    the matches.
    Further, the city buses plying to the North shall operate from the Bus Pick and Drop
    Point below Jigme Losel LS School and the City Bus Plying to the South shall
    operate from the Bus Pick and Drop Point below the Lungtenzampa Bridge on
    those two days. Accordingly, the general public is requested to note the changes
    and inconvenience caused is regretted.
