Text 1
Guess what happened! When you look at a little boy chewing the chilies.
I have a two-year old brother called Kevin. He is a very mischievous boy and always gets into trouble
with mom. He cannot seem to keep his hands off things and frequently gets spanked by mom for turning on
the gas, playing with matches, and so on.
One day, mom had just returned from the market. She placed the basket on the table in the sitting
room and went to the kitchen to wash her hands.
As there was no one in the sitting room at that time, Kevin could not resist taking a look at the things
in the basket. When he discovered that there were some red sweets inside the basket, he quickly climbed
onto the table and put one into his mouth. When he started chewing it, his mouth became hot and he started
to cry.
Mom dashed out from the kitchen and saw Kevin with a red chili in his mouth! She hurriedly took
him to the kitchen to wash his mouth with some cold water from the refrigerator.
When Kevin finally stopped crying, mom gave him a good scolding. She told him not to be greedy
and take things without her permission. Everyone in the family had a good laugh when they learnt about this
incident later on. Everyone, of course, except Kevin who did not find his experience amusing.
Text 2
Guess what happened when there was fisherman who threw a big fish back into the water and keep
only that small one? It is unusual incident, isnt?
One morning, a man was crossing a narrow bridge. When he saw a fisherman under him on the shady
bank of the deep smooth river he stopped to watch him quietly.
He saw that the fisherman took it off the hook and caught a big fish. But he threw it back to water.
Then he put his hook and line in again. After a minute he caught rather big fish. Again, he threw it back into
the river. Then the third time, he caught a small fish. He put it into his basket and started to get ready to go.
The man on the bridge was very surprised, so he spoke to the fisherman. He asked why did he threw those
beautiful big fishes back into the water and just kept only the small one.
The fisherman looked up and answered, I only have a frying pan
Oh poor fisherman!
Text 3
This is a funny story about my sister and her friend. It is awful and ridiculous. She came to a
minimarket in my town which she likes. She chooses that minimarket and not another.

Everyday many people come to that minimarket to buy something they need. Many kinds of things
are sold such as clothes, food, drinks etc. The minimarket is near from my house. Children, young, and adult
often go there. May be because of the low price or cheap, people likes it. They always go shopping there.
One day my sister and her friend went to that minimarket with her friend. She went there after
studying at school. She wanted to buy a splash colone and some food. Her friend wanted to buy a soft
drink. When my sister opened the door she heard the waiter calling her. Then he said, You must take your
signature first!. She and her friend would take their signature but suddenly the waiter said, Oh no, I am just
kidding. My sister and her friend look shy and laughed.
This incident makes my sister and her friend ashamed. She laughs when she remembers about it. She
hopes that it never happens to her again. But now she does not care about it.
Text 4
Taking the wrong assumption? This is very abashed. Actually I was so embarrassed about this
incident. I think many people will laugh when they know it.
One day my brother and I were watching TV at home. Suddenly there were many people brought
many chairs from my neighbors house and I saw it. At that moment I was afraid and I said to my father
about this incident. My father run and said, Thief, thief, thief..catch them!. Suddenly he stopped. In fact
the people are not a thief but he is my uncle. My father said to me, Oh no Hen. He is your uncle!. Its
terrible.
After that my father chatted with my uncle. I was so embarrassed to them. I am not brave to go out.
Then my father talked to me. I just laughed and was afraid. My mother laughed after listening this story and
she told me, That is funny.
When I meet my uncle, I feel shy to him because I always remember this incident. I hope my uncle
forget it and I will not be shy anymore.
This experience was so funny in my life. I take the wrong assumption about someone whom I called
as a thief. May be because of the night, I could not see clearly. I always remember it and I dont forget it. I
think this experience can be a lesson for me.
