    applicationwiththeCityofMiami,somearebeingfoughtincourt,othersattheCDD.

    WalmartsplanforNE31stStreetcallsto
    removemorethan20parallelparkingspaces
    and30treestocreatea3laneroad
    tohandlethegrosslyincreasedautoandbigrig
    traffictheirplanwouldallowfor5loadingberthsand600parkingspacesintheirgarage.

    TheBoardofSupervisorsisbeingpressuredtoaccommodateWalmart.

    Infact,theBoardshouldnotandmaynotremoveimprovementswhicharetheirsworn
    obligationtomaintain
    aspartofthebondobligationswhichpaidforMidtowns
    subdivisionandstreets.ParallelparkingisrequiredbytheMidtownplanandthe
    IntralocalAgremeent
    thatestablishedtheCDDwhichborrowed$100,000,000lastyear
    torefinancethedistrictsBonds.Thisupcomingmeetingiscrucialtoletthesepublic
    officialsknowthat:

    1) MidtownResidentsCare.TheCDDmustprotecttheintegrityoftheMidtownPlan
    2) Novemberselectionmeetingfor3newsupervisorswillbewellattendedtoo
