This book goes over the explorations of Christopher Columbus in the Caribbean but show
the event as what they would actually look like; the ship conditions, age of sailors, food, ect.

The setting of the book is Spain and the Caribbean.

The overall theme is exploration and what it really looks like.

The character in the story is Columbus and his crew; also included the stand in for the
reader as he is put into the situation of these explorations.
Style
The style of book is as if it is answer questions of someone who thinks they want to go on
an exploration with Christopher Columbus.
Point of View
The point of view of this book is as if it is answer questions of someone who thinks they
want to go on an exploration with Christopher Columbus.
Reflections
I really like this book; the only down side this book is it is defiantly for an older
classroom setting so I would only use this in a third through fifth classroom based on the content.
