Proactively and effectively manage the Shared Services overall development and implementation of
goals, vision, objectives, strategy definition, and operations in support of multimillion dollar US,
Canadian and Puerto Rican business operations, with emphasis, but not exclusive of, the Accounts
Payable area. Collaborate with senior executives and key personnel in analyzing overall accounting
processes, procedures, and practices, and determine strategic and tactical needs for both short and

Play a key role in determining the future direction of the 1000-member division. This includes policy

Level Agreements (SLAs).
Support financial personnel and departments across all business units with all facets of A/P, including
but not exclusive of month-end and year-end closing process activities, analytical review of AP
accounts, financial statements analysis, cash flow activities, procure-to-pay activities, and process
improvement
Active participation in the planning and successful transition of Canada, Puerto Rico and Global
imports payable processes and implementation of the Contact Center disciplines into the Shared
Services environment.
Oversee process implementation and automation for Supplier Finance initiatives in collaboration with
Procurement areas and financial institutions.
Develop, leverage talent and align organization structure to provide promotional opportunities across
the organization. Sponsor of AP certification programs within the Shared Services division.
2007 - 2008
Lead payroll tax operations of the companys US and Puerto Rico operations. Compliance and
consulting responsibilities for over 1,000 tax jurisdictions.

2005 - 2007
Provided regional oversight and responsibilities and US tax planning for Argentina, Brazil, Canada,
Central America and Puerto Rico. Job responsibilities included local country direct and indirect
compliance, US GAAP reporting (tax provisions, SOX controls, FASB5), in-country associate
development.

Home office liaison in tax related matters, including but no exclusive of IA findings and ISD projects,
US dividend tax planning responsibilities and minimization of Walmarts Effective Tax Rate (ETR).

Responsible for the integration of a newly-acquired business unit to Wal-Mart systems and
procedures, including but not exclusive of store operations systems and store standards, store training,
modular implementation, merchandising and replenishment systems, DC operations and
consolidation, finance systems.

Work included preparation of integration plan, managing local and corporate headquarters resources,
execution and supervision of integration tasks.

preparation of tax returns, government relations administration, income tax and local tax planning, tax
provisions and deferred taxes preparation and business support.
