Module Summary

Cisco UBEs can be used to interconnect VoIP networks by

allowing connections from VoIP dial peer to VoIP dial peer.
Implementing a Cisco UBE is very similar to implementing a
traditional Cisco IOS voice gateway, with the addition of
configuring protocol interworking, address hiding, and codec
filtering.
