Isaiah 11:2 “The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him – the Spirit of wisdom and of

understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of power, the Spirit of knowledge and of the fear
of the Lord.”

The Spirit of wisdom and of understanding:

Proverbs 2:1-4 “My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out
for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search
for it as for hidden treasure,” (See Proverbs 2:5 below).

The Spirit of counsel and of power:

Psalm 119:24 “Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors.”

Proverbs 8:14 “Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have understanding and
power.” (Wisdom is speaking).

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord:

Proverbs 1:7 “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge”

Proverb 1:29 “Since they hated knowledge and did not choose to fear the LORD”
Proverbs 2:5 “then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of
God.” (See Proverbs 2:1-4 above).
Proverbs 8:13 “To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior
and perverse speech.”
