Color
The most simple element. Consists of primary colors
and secondary colors. Colors can be mixed to create
a sense of feeling that brightens the feeling of the
picture.

Shape
Object can be either geometric or abstract in
shape. Geometric can be 2- dimensional like
squares, circles, and triangles.
Or
3-dimensional such as a cube, sphere, and
cone.

Line
Most simple line to do is a straight or
you could have a curly line.

Texture
THe tactile surface of an object: Rough,
Smooth, Soft, Prickly, etc.

Form
The 3-dimensional figure of shape. It has
length, width and depth of a circumference.

Tone
The lightness or darkness of a color. It varies
from the brightest of whites to the darkest of
blacks, with any variation in between. Black and
white photographs consist of only tones because
they have no color.

Space
Space can be either the visual creation of depth in
foreground, middleground and background, or the
difference between positive space an object takes
up versus negative space which is found around
an object that can be empty or blank.
