DISCUSSION:- There may be variation in result due to following reasons:
Variation in flow rate of water.
Variation in temperature of water . Variation in flow velocity of cold air. There may be no complete co-current or counter current due to leakage in valves. Variation in supplying voltage, that will generate variation in temperatures as well as flow velocities. There may be non uniform heating of water in inlet tank. There may be leakage in sucking pipe, due to this air bubble may generate in water stream, which will affect the physical properties.
CONCLUSION:- This experiment helps us to know about condition of heat exchange
between two systems(two fluids) and how it is affected by fins. We allow hot water to flow r in tube pumped by pump and cold air in annulus. This experiments provide us knowledge that how we can increase the heat transfer rate by application of fin (i.e. by increasing the turbulence in flow ). BIBLIOGRAPHY:
