Meaning Of A Contractor:
The term 'contractor' includes self employed people, and any person who carries on a trade,
business or other undertaking, whether for profit or not.
This in effect covers any person or company of any size who provides a service , from an
office cleaner to a major company carrying out road or construction works.

Need For A Contractor


For Completion of a work on ones behalf within a stipulated time
with full operational efficiency.

Poor planning and management will increase costs, cause delays


and/or disruption of services as well as accidents/ill health.

Whenever a project requires specialist input, contractors cater the
