    treatmentofamentalillness,emotionaldisturbances,andunusualbehaviorinchildren.
    Psychiatryisaverybroadjobandhasmanydifferentjobopportunities.ThereasonIchosethis
    topicisfromaverypersonalstandpoint.InmylifeIvehadalotofthingsIshouldhavenever
    hadgonethrough.IstruggledwithalotandfeltlikeIwasallalone.Ivemetalotofpsychiatrist,
    therapists,anddoctorstohelpmebutIneverfeltliketheyreallycared.Ijustfeltliketheywere
    onlytheretogetapaycheck.Somygoal,istohelpkidswiththesameissuesIhad.Whetherits
    depression,anxiety,behavioralissues,etc.,Imgoingtobetheonewhomakessuretheyknow
    theyarentaloneandtheyhavesomeonethatwilllisten.Also,theresourcesIwillbeusingare
    AACAP(AmericanAcademyofChildandAdolescentPsychiatry,andothersoffofNcWise
    Owl.

    InPsychiatrytherearemanydifferentroadstotake.Youhavetodecidewhatkindofwork
    environmentyourelookingfor,whatagegroupyouwouldliketoworkwith,andwhatkindof
    Psychiatristyouwouldwanttobe.MypaperwillincludeallofthefollowingImentioned,the
    stepstotaketowardbeingaPsychiatrist,andinformationaboutthejobandhistoryitself.Itwill
    beorganizedintosectionsofhistoryofthefield,education,experience,andprogramsin
    universities.IhopetolearnhowIcanmakemyselfbetterfromthispaperinthefutureonceIget
    intothemedicalfield.IhopethatitwillshowmewhattoexpectinsomepointswhenIactually
    getwhereIwanttobe.

    Mysenioryear,IwillhaveamentornamedDr.FoxPh.D.HeisapsychiatristforCarolinas
    BehavioralandHealthWellness.Sincehoursarerequired,IhopethatIcangototheofficeand
    experiencesomedailywork.AlthoughIcannotwatchandbeputinanactualsessionbecauseof
    confidentialitylaws,IhopeIcanexperienceeverythingelse.FrombeingmentoredIwouldlove
    toseehowitisinanofficethewholeday.Howmanypatientsthereare,howtheoffice/hospital
    works,andwhattodoifthereisamedicalemergency.MyproductIwouldliketomakean
    anonymoussurveyonthepercentageratesofdepression,anxiety,orbehavioralissuesacrossthe
    UnitedStates,orjustNorthCarolina.Thepurposewouldbetoseehowmanypeoplesufferfrom
    mentalillnessesandhowitsarealthing.IalsoamawareofthePLPethicsguideandwillnot
    plagiarizeanypartofmypaper,internship,orinterviewatanypointinthisproject.Iknowit
    willcausemyselfazeroandafailinggradewhichwillpreventmefromgraduating.Ihopeyou
