A robotic system is an integrated system of devices that automate production
and manufacturing of goods and services.
2) List some of the reasons that robots are used of humans in industry:
Robots produce more accurate and high quality work
They can produce a greater quantity in a short amount of time
They can work at a constant speed with no breaks, days off or holiday
time
Robots save workers from performing dangerous tasks
They can work in hazardous conditions, such as poor lighting, toxic
chemicals, or tight spaces
They are capable of lifting heavy loads, without injury or tiring
Robots increase worker safety by preventing accidents since humans
are not performing risky jobs
They reduce the amount of wasted materials because they are so
accurate common robot tasks
3) Give two examples of industries that use robots
Automotive manufacturing: robots are used for assembly and testing of
vehicles
General manufacturing: robots are used for processing, packaging,
labeling etc. the goods being manufactured
4) Add one image of a robot used in industry to your webpage and explain what

5) Describe three careers associated with robotics systems
Radiography technician: is a trained health professional who performs
medical imaging by producing high quality X-ray pictures or images
used to diagnose and treat injury or disease.
Robotic technician: perform a crucial function of robotics engineering, a
field with its feet already planted in the industrial arena. Robot
technicians build, maintain, and repair robots in automated
manufacturing plants and other settings, using computer programming
and electromechanical engineering skills and knowledge

 Failure analysis tester: is the systematic investigation of a part failure

with the objectives of determining the root causes of failure and the
corrective actions needed to prevent future failures
