Applications are invited for a walk in interview to be held in the Department of Civil Engineering,
IIT Guwahati on 15 October, 2015 (Thursday) from 02.00 pm onwards for the following position.
Junior Research Fellow (JRF) (1 No.): For a project entitled Assessment of snowmelt and
glacier melt runoff contribution in upstream part of Teesta river catchment using hydrological
modeling and field based measurements funded by Department of Science and Technology
(DST), Govt. of India, in the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati.
Term: Initially for one year and extendable upto 3 years based on performance
Scale of pay: Rs. 20,000+ HRA and Medical as per institute norms
Qualification and Experience: B. Tech in Engineering/Agricultural/M.Sc./M.Tech. in relevant
field
Candidates with good remote sensing skills/hydrological software/MATLAB and knowledge of
field work sampling will be preferred.
