Subject: Research Assistant recruitment for ICMR sanctioned Project.

Applications with detailed biodata along with attested copies of certificates are invited for the
appointment of ‘Research assistant’ in the ICMR sponsored research project entitled “Evaluation
of therapeutic and immunomodulatory potential of Azithromycin in experimental urinary tract
infection model induced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa”.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc with atleast 55% marks in Microbiology/

Life Sciences/Biotechnology.

Desirable Qualifications: UGC-NET (for Ph.D) / PU Ph.D Entrance Exam cleared candidate
will be preferred Research and practical experience in handling
animals and pathogenic organisms along with knowledge of
immunological techniques will be preferred.

Stipend : 10,700/- PM (Fixed)

should appear for the interview along with original certificates on 22nd March 2010 at 11.00 am
in the office of the Chairman, Department of Microbiology, Panjab University. No separate
