    CANDLELIGHT

    ___________
    The candle near its end doth draw,
    the wax away from wick does pour.
    Flicker does the candle flame,
    and shadows close lie.
    Neath the arch light seeps,
    as soon the source will die.
    Deeper now the dark does fall,
    and heavier turns the air.
    Pssst the flame it dies away,
    alike as all things fare.
