Industrial Revolution Unit 3 research project/essay 2

The industrial Revolution truly did revolutionize the way that industry works. The
industrial Revolution was the transition to new manufacturing processes in the
period from about 1760 to sometime between 1820 and 1840. The factory system,
the use of machines, and a change in fuels were all results of the industrial
revolution. All three of these resultants aided the development of modern
manufacturing in many ways.
The factory system aided the development of modern manufacturing by providing a
template to follow so as to increase efficiency and decrease cost as much as
possible. The use of machines aided the development of modern manufacturing
because now instead of making everything by hand we can make machines do it for
us. The change in fuels aided the development of modern manufacturing by moving
away from fuels such as steam and water both of which are geologically restraining.
Now due to the change in fuels businesses and factories can be built anywhere.
The industrial Revolution brought about a lot of good things, however it also brought
about a lot of bad things example of such being pollution and a decimation of wild
life. Hopefully we have another industrial revolution one in which we find ways to
minimize pollution caused by manufacturing and this time we keep a consciences
mind that cares for wildlife. In conclusion the industrial revolution was great for
business but horrible for the environment
