Mental Health Association to Create Awareness through Health Fair.

On the 17th of September 2016, Mental Health Association will be organizing a Health
Fair at Miri City Fan, Jalan Kipas, Miri Sarawak.

The main reason for organizing this event is to create public awareness and also raise
funds for mental health Association Sarawak.

Mental Health Association Sarawak have achieved a lot for the past years which the local
residents are astonished, such as opening three branches of Mental Health which are in
Miri, Kuching and Sibu, their help in promotion of the rights of the mentally ill and
provision of adequate services/facilities for those suffering from mental illness.

Some special guests of honor will be present at the events which are Miri Mayor Mr.
Lawrence Lai, Datuk Peter Chin and Dr. Adeline Wong.

The

registration

form

for

the

event

has

been

made

available

online

at

sarawaktourism.com. You can as well get the form from The Miri Center and World
Association for Infant Mental Health. Registration booth will also be provided on the
event day. The entrance fee starts at RM 15 because different activities require different
payment.

Some interesting activities will take place that day such as selling of Hearts candy,
Name-A-Fruit competition for kids, Booth opening which will demonstrate on CPR&
First aid treatment and another booth for blood pressure screening.

All the money raised from this event will be given to Mental Health Association
Sarawak.

It will be very advisable for everybody to participate in this event because the event will
be fun and not only that, you will get to see new faces and make friends with them whilst
we join hands together and raise money for Mental Health people.
