LEAD IN

Teacher will start a warm up asking the different


places student have travel. After that T will ask 5 minutes
what places they would like to go around Chile
and after that around the world.

Good morning students. I would like to start the class asking


you, what places have you been to? Interesting.
Now I would like to know, what places here in Chile would
you like to go? And how about around the whole world? Very
good!

PRESENTATION

T starts explaining about the new topic travelling,


and that the class will be focus on different places
we can travel around the world.
After that T start presenting the places by 10 minutes
mentioning them. After saying the name of the
places T make students repeat them. Then, T
shows the images of each place and say the name
of each one again, making Ss repeat. Finally T
shows the images with the name written and
makes them repeat one last time.

Now I would like to introduce to you our new topic. We will


be working with travelling around the world. We will see
different interesting places you can go to visit. I will name the
places and you will have to repeat with me. Great Wall of
China, Stonehenge, Colloseum, Eastern Island, Mont Everest,
Amazon Rainforest. Now I will show the images of the
places. Repeat the names with me. Okay now that you know
the places and the name repeat one last time with me the
places we will see.

PRACTICE

T will put only the images and ask students


randomly to name the place that is shown. Then T
will put the words only and make students say the 15 minutes

To start practising I will show only the images and you will
have to name the place. Let start. What places is this? Very

T will give a worksheet with the images of the
places that were presented previously. Also, the
worksheet will have all the vocabulary. T will
give instructions and Ss will have to put in order
the vocabulary with correspond image writing

to read the names. This is? Good.
To continue practising I will give you a worksheet with the
images and the vocabulary. You will have to put in order the
words with the places and write short sentences for example,
This is the Great Wall of China. You may start now.

Ss will have to choose one of the places in the


worksheet and write about that place. They will
have to explain why they would like to travel to 15 min
that place. After that, Ss will have to work in pair
and read it to their classmate. Finally, Ss wil have
to give to the teacher what they have written.

Now that you finish with the exercises I would like you to
choose one of the places and write about it. You will have to
write why you would like to go. After you finish get a partner
and read it to him. When you finish everything you will have
to give it to me. Remember to put your name on it.
