The Exchange Family Center has prevented trauma related to child

abuse and neglect in our community for more than 23 years:

EFC serves more than 400 families and 1,000 individuals each year
EFC uses evidence based programs that are proven effective at helping
change caregiver-child dynamics and reduce childrens challenging
behavior by increasing childrens social and emotional competency.
EFCs programs serve children ages birth to 17 years old supporting
families in each stage of their childs development
EFC measures the impact of all of our services and all programs make
significant and sustainable changes in childrens lives
Caregivers overwhelmingly report EFCs services are a positive experience
and recommend our services to friends, co-workers, and family members
Services are provided in the homes or at child care facilities to make them
easy to access and provide the services right where caregivers need
them
EFC offers coaching, not just classes, to stand by people as they put
their plans into action
All services are provided in both English and Spanish and are FREE
EFCs services are in constant demand: our programs consistently have a
two month waiting list.
