Purpose: Join three pieces of timber together to create the table top and the join the top with the legs

Comments
Mark out the length of the Tasmanian Oak top 720mm
Cut the length of each piece
Mark out where the 5 biscuit joins will be
Ensure work is clamped down well and all cuts are made
in the right spot
Put material together to ensure that the pieces fit together
and line up
Glue the 3 pieces of timber together trying to get them as
straight as possible and as flat as possible
Mark and cut the shelves at 700mm
Use the sander and make sure all parts are level
Finish sanding by hand with fine sand paper
Mark the spots for the legs on the bottom side of the table
top
Set the drill press so that it stops at 10mm and drill several
holes where the legs will go
Chisel the rest of the holes by hand ensuring you do not
take too much out of the hole and test regularly with the
legs
Put the legs and the table top together to make sure they
are ok to glue
Glue the legs to the table top
