AARE YOU A FAN OF ART?

Our group was very surprised with these results, as we were standing in front of
the GOMA (Gallery of Modern Art), and a third of the people said no they werent
fans (some said they liked it but werent big fans). These results might have been
because as I previously mentioned some said they werent fans, but did like it,
while others were probably just walking past the gallery as we were standing
about 20 metres in front of it.

DOES ART CONTRIBUTE TO

THE ECONOMY?
I personally thought this was an obvious question, but despite what I thought 7
out of the 50 people still said no that they didnt think it contributed to the
economy. They might have said it because maybe the art didnt earn a lot of

money, or maybe because it was owned by private companies not the

government. I think it would contribute to the economy as it attracts tourists.

Most people that we asked thought that art did attract tourists, but 9 out of the
50 said that it did not attract tourists. They might have said it because they think
that the galleries and art in Brisbane are unknown to anyone outside of Brisbane.
