I declare the following:
On 31.10.2015 / 23.25 hrs ( local hour) I sign on at board of M/T AKDENIZ in order to assist the master on berthing maneuvering alongside berth no. 70, which was later replaced with berth no.69, as per terminals request. For this maneuvering were nominated the tug boats BRAILA and CS9 and the channel VHF for working 11. Were performed the exchange of informations between master and Pilot, ref. the maneuver, technical details of the ship, the method of using the tug boats of assistance, wheatear conditions and others and we agree the plan to carry out the maneuver; I signed on board of the vessel in dreptul geamandurii cardinal pe capatul digului de nord. After the vessel proceeded of buoy R6, the vessel speed was gradually reduced, the harbor entrance was performed with about 2 knots. The Master of M/T AKDENIZ was informed abt. the maneuver of M/V MATILDE A, the latter, which was contacted in channel VHF 67,14,13,11, in order to establish with both vessels the passing maneuver passed near one to another. The tug boats, BRAILA and CS9 were waiting near berth no. 78, in order to assist the subject vessel and to perform the berthing maneuver. The Master of AKDENIZ was informed abt. M/V MATILDE A, but he continued the ships maneuver with minimum safe speed. When M/V MATILDE A replied and agreed the crossing maneuver was already in progress
