Rhythm
Perform and count rhythm patterns containing two sixteenth notes and one eight note, and one
eighth note and two sixteenth notes.

Perform and label partner songs.
Recognize when chordal harmonies change.
Define a chord as 3 or more notes sounded together.

Play the notes low E and low D on the recorder in simple songs.
Read from the treble staff and play simple pentatonic melodies on barred/keyboard instruments.

Listen to the Ode to Joy by Beethoven and the Nutcracker Suite by Tchaikovsky.
Identify music of Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
Identify music of the Romantic period.
