People can’t buy, sell, or own land 4, People can’t own businesses, or profit off of others’ hard work. 5. Under TRUE communism people work together in order for everybody to profit equally. Military Dictatorship (North Korea) 1. Acountry, government, or the form of government in which absolute power is exercised by one person. 2. This one person must have military presence (military does what they say). 3. Often takes power by force (sometimes deadly force) Monarchy Gapan) 1. One person rules... absolutely (king/queen) 2. Family history gives them the right to do so. Republic (United States, South Korea, many other countries) 1. Supreme power is held by the people 2. People elect representatives to speak for them 3. Elected, and/or nominated president
