Objective:
A position in an organization in need of a hard-working and self-motivated software engineer. I
am looking for a position that will challenge me and help me improve my knowledge and skills in
algorithms, problem solving and software engineering.
Qualifications:
I have about five years of experience in programming. I have strong familiarity with C/C++,
some experience with Java and Python and limited experience with other languages including Lisp,
Prolog and C#. I have experience programming in groups and independently, both for real world
applications and in competitive settings. I am able to work effectively with a variety of command-line
and GUI tools in Linux/Unix and Windows environments. I have held several positions in which I've
been tasked with teaching and communicating ideas, including computer science tools and concepts, to
others.
Accomplishments:
I earned 3rd place in the advanced bracket of my university's annual coding competition.

My competitive coding team placed in the top half at the 2014 ACM ICPC regionals.
I have been elected as Vice President of my university's chapter of the Association for
Computing Machinery (ACM).
