Included with IDRISI Andes

Global IDRISI Vector Data from GfK MACON

Included with your license of IDRISI Andes is a global vector dataset from GfK MACON GmbH,
totaling nearly 200 mb. GfK MACON GmbH provides the worlds largest and most extensive
archive of digital maps--more than 230 countries all over the world. The data has already been
converted to IDRISI format.
The dataset included with Andes:
For all countries:
A generalized set of boundaries, roads, hydrology, rail, airports, and cities data.
To highlight MACONs finished products, a detailed dataset is also provided for Portugal.
All MACON data are installed during the IDRISI Andes installation process and is located by
default in a folder named IDRISI MACON Data. Data can only be used within the context of
MACON licensing terms.

If maps are published using geometries provided by MACON, MACON must be properly
acknowledged.
The digital maps are protected by copyright (Copyright GfK MACON GmbH) and can not be
redistributed, either in full or in part.
In the event of infringement of these terms of utilization, GfK MACON GmbH reserves the explicit
right to claim for damages.
As maps are subject to constant change, GfK MACON, as well as Clark Labs, cannot give any
guarantee in regard to their completeness, correctness or currency. GfK MACON, as well as
Clark Labs, does not accept liability in the event of direct or indirect consequential or collateral
damage resulting from the use, incorrect use or misuse of the maps.
