VISITATION OF YOUTHS TO THE DENTIST IN THE PAST

40 YEARS.
Figure 1 shows number of youths visiting the dentist while Table
1 shows illustrates the reasons for visiting the dentist on 1971 2010.Generally,the number of youths visiting the dentist is
influenced by the reasons for visiting the dentist.
The total number of youths visited the dentist,has recorded the
highest number with 135000 among youths,in the year 2001 until
2010.In 1971 until 1980 the number of youths visited the dentist was
the least with 56000.In 1991 until 2000 the number of youths visited
the dentist has increased to 105000 compare to the year 1981 until
1990 with 83000.In 2001 until 2010 ,girls and boys has the highest
reasons for visiting the dentist at 26000.In 1971 until 1980, boys
visited the dentist with the highest number at 30000 compare to
girls at 26000 with reasons extracting teeth and filling cavities.Boys
visited the dentist with least number at 60000 compare to the girls
which is at 75000 with the reasons such as seeking treatment for
gum disease,extracting teeth,filling cavities and fitting braces in
2001 until 2010.
In conclusion,the number of youths visited the dentist affected
the reasons for visiting the dentist.
