Running dictation

If Id known Id be running today, I most definitely wouldnt have come to

class! I would surely have stayed home if Id known this lesson would be
such a tiring affair. Why are we made to work so hard? Perhaps if we
hadnt been so naughty in the previous lessons, the trainer wouldnt have
had such a silly idea. We would most likely have been sitting happily,
doing some interesting reading comprehension, if we had behaved well
last week. If, if, if Run, run, run! Write, write, write!
Listen and write down the key words:
If you had asked me I would have told you.
Even if I had known her secret, I wouldnt have revealed it to anyone.

Dictogloss
To talk about an impossible or improbable situation in the present,
we can use if and the past simple together with would and the
infinitive. For example: I would help you if I had more time.
We use the third conditional sentences to talk about the situations
that didnt happen. Here we use if and past perfect together with would
plus have plus past participle, e.g. I would have studied medicine if I
hadnt failed my entrance exam.
