Portal stabilization............................................................................................................... 1

Portal stabilization
Brothers version = Before the pipe | Sisters version = After the pipe
A sudden force grips a hold on one of the twins by the feet, screaming one anothers name as the force rips Sheena|
Alexander towards the portal. Theyve grabbed one anothers hands, holding on for dear life their hair flailing around.
The portal threatens violently to implode once again behind them. Sheena|Alexander lets out a shriek as her|his hands
strength gives up the grip with her|his twin, Alexander|Sheena. Sheena|Alexander! NOO! he|she screams up, his|her
hands frantically grabs at the air, where his sister|her brother used to be. She|He is sucked into the portals vortex with a
scream. The screams volume dies down bit by bit, and Alexander|Sheena sprints towards the portal the force clearly
not affecting him|her after his|her, now, vanished sister|brother. The portal emits yet another roaring thunder, as it
closes in front of Alexander|Sheena, the sudden closing of it making forwarded shockwave, knocking him|her
backwards.
His|Her skin faintly lights up with a blue|red color, then dims again. Sheena Sister|Alexander Brother he|she
mumbled to himself|herself, before closing his|her eyes lightly. His|Her body, however, disappeared in a swift flash, and
reappeared back in his|her bed groaning in his|her unconsciousness.
Alexander|Sheena wakes up in a shock, sitting up in his|her bed after mere moments. He|She peers around drowsily,
wondering whether the event hed|shed just experienced was a dream. He|She gets up from bed and lazily drags his|her
feet across the wooden floor, rubbing his|her eyes occasionally, as he|she stands outside his|her twins room. He|She
merely stands there for a few seconds, before knocking on the door and asking in a silent voice; Hey Sheena|
Alexander? You awake?
He|She receives no answer, and places his|her lazy ear against the wooden doors surface, listening intently at any sound
within the obstacle. Nothing, not a single sound. He|She slowly leans back again, letting out a monstrous yawn, as he|
she slowly swings open the creaking door.
What he|she sees beyond this door makes him|her panic, and instantly wakes up from his|her half-slumber. His|Her twin
is gone! The events from last night flashes in front of his|her eyes, seeing the scenes happen once more within his|her
mind. He|She shakes his|her head mildly, as he|she mutters a silent; No
[Alexander Only]He spins around swiftly and runs downstairs, opening every door and yet not finding her. He hits the
kitchen-counter in a mild rage, his hand getting a faint, blue glow, before dimming down which he doesnt notice.
[Sheena Only]She peers around reassuringly, and then skitters downstairs. She looks within every room, not finding
him. She goes to the nearest bathroom, which is next to the staircase, and stares into the mirror. She lets out a groan
after mere moments, and walks out of the bathroom, slamming the door shut behind her. The door, however, lets few
sparks of red light beam faintly which she doesnt notice.

His|Her self-conscious cringes within him|her, his|her twin couldve been here now had he|she kept a firm grip. He|
She peers towards the stairs. He|She lets his|her mind wander, and walked in a swift pace to his fathers room after all,
he|she had been the one researching what had happened not long ago. To him|her it wasnt long ago. He|She groaned as
he|she found the door locked, hitting his|her shoulder against the wooden surface, creaking loudly. He|She took another
try, it didnt help. This time he|she went a bit further back, and then stormed forward, keeping his|her shoulder ready to
break the door open.
Which he|she did. The hinges creaks audibly as his|her gaze flies around the room it reminded him|her more of an
office, than a bedroom. He|She searches the desk for anything, yet everything. He|She finds a dusty journal, and opens it
only the first page is within it. Something is scribbled into the very bottom of the book, something in latin.
Vicis impeditur; totum verba dicit, which roughly translates into Time is prevented; says the words of the whole.
Alexander|Sheenas latin is barely efficient enough to translate it, and instantly got the idea of going to the nearby
library wonder if they have something to help his|her own research.
It rains outside, it frankly pours down with water. He|She takes on a raincoat and walks to the door. He|She sighs lightly
before turning the doorknob and heading outside. No car, no person nothing was outside at this time of day.
(This is where the player takes over the control to get to the library![At least, thats my suggestion])
He|She peers around searchingly, his|her gaze locking at an alleyway across a small plaza. The lanterns only slightly lit
up the area, the dimmed lighting making a cozy atmosphere. Why did this have to happen he|she mutters to
himself|herself in a low, muffled voice, as he|she pulls the raincoat tight against his|her neck and jaw, determined not to
get wet at all.
Alexander|Sheena runs for it, like, was it his|her dear life he|she was running for, which he|she, in a weird way, actually
was. He|She skitters swiftly across the plaza, the rain dropping on his|her raincoat, his|she feet making several thuds and
splashes, as he|she without a care skitters through the water puddles gathering here and there. He|She reaches the
alleyway within mere moments, his|her light panting continuing to increase as he|she keeps running. A stray dog barks
at him|her, as he|she runs past it, and follows him|her in the run. He|She peers back at the dark brown dog following
him|her and smirks; he|she merely shakes his|her head once again and finally stops outside the library.
He|She lets out a sigh as he|she breathes deeply, his|her panting the only audible sound apart from the barking dog and
the rain hitting the stony road-tiles. He|she takes off the raincoats headsection and breathes in deeply through his|her
nose, pressing his|her left hand against the librarys door. It opens with a loud creak, almost welcoming Alexander|
Sheena. To this sound he|she grins and walks inside; I knew the library was open all day
He|She steps inside the long, cold corridors, emitting a long-drawn, barely audible sigh. The librarians desk is empty,
and so he|she finds his|her way to the computer placed upon it. He|She turns the computer on, and focuses his|her eyes
on the screen briefly. A sound, several deep, loud thuds to the floor catches his|her attention, as he|she spins around, his|
her gaze locked at the source of the sound. A pile of books lies on the ground a few feet from him|her, which is barely
notable in the extremely dimmed light small beams of light falling in through the windows.
He|She turns his|her attention back to the desk, as he|she merely shrugs it couldve been gravity. He|She clicks with
the mouse, the clicking the only sound within these long hallways of bookshelves. The Library Database opens on the
monitor, the grey window opening a searchbar. After numerous failed attempts to find anything interesting, he|she
searches for a last title on a book; Word of the whole, which emits a low pling! from the computer one book
available, and it looks interesting Word of the Whole; World Beyond.
He|She smiles and reads where the books rightful place is. D-32. He|She turns off the monitor, the computer going into
standby. He|She finds a flashlight from the desks drawer, turns it on and points the cone of light towards a row of
bookshelves at each of them theres a sign with a letter. He|She lets the cone journey its way across the letters. A. B.
C. D. He|She walks towards the row of bookshelves and slowly starts the search of the book.

A whisper ran through the corridor, which quite frankly startles Alexander/Sheena beyond panic. He|She spins around
swiftly, peering at the ceiling, while spinning around himself|herself slowly. Anyone here? he|she asks in a raised
voice, not getting an answer. He|She shakes his|her head and continues the search, soon enough finding the book. It was
bound in leather, and had several black marks above and below the title it seems heavy.
Alexander|Sheena stretches a hand to reach the book, taking it out from the spot it had just been in. His|Her eyes are
glued to the bookcover, running a hand softly across the crude, leathery surface. He|She shakes his|her head again, as
he|she hears another sound from outside, the rain evolving into a rough storm, lightning raining from the sky at
occasions. He|She smuggles the book within his|her raincoat, and runs out the librarys corridors, closing the main
entrance after him|her, the loud clok indicating its closed.
He|She peers from side to side along the darkened street; all lanterns seem to have been blown out, which is extremely
odd, now that its electrical systems. The oddness wasnt striking any nervousity in Alexander|Sheena though, as he|she
merely shrugged at the sudden darkness outside and ran towards the alleyway again the stray, brown-furred dog
eagerly followed along, barking now and then.
He|She tugs the book close to his|her body, running swiftly through the alleyway and home. He|She opens the door to
his|her house, and closes it behind him|her the familiar smell of lit candles within the small house. He|She instantly
goes to the kitchen, cooking some of the leftovers in the refrigerator curry-chicken with rice unaware that a shadow
creeps inside beneath the frontdoor with ease. The shadow seems to morph into a person, yet staying shady and dark as
the shadows...
Mmh, stupid cooker! Being stubborn as always.. he|she complains, as he|she angrily gives it a kick; a loud thud of
rubber against metal following. Suddenly, all light within the small house turns off, and the warmth of the cooker
rapidly growing cold; freezing like ice. Alexander|Sheena peers around searchingly, as the light turns off. It doesnt take
long for him|her to notice the freezing cold flame, which shouldve been extremely hot.
What the hells happening?! he|she blurts out, slightly feared by the whole situation. His|Her eyes are forced shut, as
he|she buries his|her face within his|her palm, the pain in his|her eyes driving him|her nuts, grumbling and grunting. He|
She opens his|her eyes swiftly mere moments later, peering out between the narrowed eyes oddly everything appeared
blue|red for a short moment, himself|herself thinking hed|shed gone insane.
That was, until he|she saw a black spot in the room in front him|her shaped like a human, but pitchblack. The color
quickly disappeared from his|her eyes after that leaving him|her shocked and running past, where the shade had just
been, towards the staircase, staring towards the living room as he|she stood still there momentarily.
A silent whisper, a pained groan and a rattle sent Alexander|Sheena flying up the stairs, his|her eyes momentarily
flashing a bright blue|red, his|her gaze working like night vision briefly. He|She slammed a door shut and staggered
backwards slowly, the wooden floor creaking at his|her careful steps. He|She was in their fathers office, bundles of
papers and books laying everywhere.
[To be continued] Insert some sort of knocked cold or teleport-kinda thing here. [To be continued]

Alexander|Sheena shakes his|her head slightly from side to side, his|her sight rather blurry. His|Her head hurts
immensely, the pain even spreading to the neck and shoulders. Where Am I? he|she asks weakly, before pushing
himself|herself to his|her feet once more, and peering around. The walls are mostly out of wooden planks, which was
rotten over most of the areas. The floor is a mixture of gray stone, black and white tiles.
Merely a few feet behind him|her, there is chaotic rubble lying on the stone-surface and a hole in the roof mustve
been where hed|shed fallen down. He|She walks closer to the rubble and lets his|her gaze up through the hole. He|She
quickly estimates that its about 3 stories down. He|She groans once, and then letting out a grunt clearly he|she is in

pain from the fall. There is only really one way to go, and that is down a long, dark corridor, towards a blurry, purple
light. Luckily for him|her, there is a lit torch, the blue flame giving a clear aura of light some sort of magical flame it
mustve been.
Wauw he|she exclaims and peers at the walls briefly. Examined closer it has several weird, dully glowing runes
scribed upon it. Fascinating, truly fascinating. As he|she walks along the corridor, he|she cannot help but peer around at
the different dimly glowing runes, their different shapes intriguing.
A shriek of some sort startles Alexander|Sheena, peering towards the sounds origination finding nothing. Odd,
generally odd. He|She continues the journey down the dark corridor, the light from the torch cascading across the walls.
The corridor slowly grew bigger. A hall-way, a tunnel, a hall. The confines of the corridor has become an enormous
room with around 10 pillars, each the size of a small hotel in height. Its pitchblack.
As soon as he|she steps just an inch further into the room a churning sound fills the room, then a clattering one. At long
last a torch lights up upon one of the pillars, then another, and another! The whole room lights up with torches by every
consuming second, yet the pillars stays pitchblack maybe theyre supposed to be pitchblack?
Peering from side to side, Alexander|Sheena runs ahead, the deep thuds of his|her footwear trembled across the
stonetiles echoes through the enormous hall. Whispers join the thuds, and not just 2 whispers, but what sounds like
millions and millions of different whispers. A minute later they stop, and only one voice remains, a feminine voice.
A single whisper, said in the softest of voices the sound like sweet music to his|her ears;
Life is everywhere.
Life is a challenge. Life is a gift.
Life is a chance. Life is a tragedy.
Life is a mystery. Life is love.
Life is not a bed of roses
Life is a dance for you to dance
[Alexander Only] A brief memory, of the time Alexander and his twinsister had watched TV at late night with one
another, rushed through his head, dazing him momentarily.
[Sheena Only] A brief memory, of the time Sheena and her twinbrother had watched TV at late night with one another,
rushed through her head, dazing her momentarily.
The single whisper startles him|her once again, the soft voice once again penetrating his|her thoughts, forcing him|her
out of the trance-like flashback. He|She peers around once again, as if figuring out where he|she is. Moments later he|
she peers towards a never-ending light at a pedestal mere yards away.
Time appears to be going slower and slower the closer he|she gets to the pedestal the light even decreases in power,
decreased to only a glimpse of shining material, when he|she is close to it. A shriek is heard in the distance, and
Alexander|Sheena turns around to peer straight at a mutation of some sort. After a long fight, the floor crumbles beneath
them. Alex|Sheen runs towards the keystone, grabbing it, while avoiding rubble on the way just simply running away.
[Keystone acquired!]

A glimpse of light fills his|her sight, and he|she is activating a small, black hole without suction which later, as he|she
runs into it non-purposely, appears to be a time-pocket. Thrown back 30 minutes in time, from before he|she fell into the
corridor leading there. The keystone is still with him|her.

The artifact is apparently able to form itself as it sees fit, cause it started out as a light-weight tablet, but had changed its
form to something of a key. It startles him|her briefly, that this item could do such a thing, but quickly learns to accept
it, feeling a slight pull in the key, as if its leading him|her somewhere.
After walking through several locked doors, which could be unlocked with said key, he lastly opens a wood cabinet.
Inside that cabinet there is several potions and draughts, and some books.
A single draught stands out, its both small, yet glowing a faint red. The note on it says: Potus evocationis remedio,
which is latin for: Draught of Evocation. The books next to the draughts appears to be a potion-manual, conveniently
enough. He|She picks up it, and starts scrolling through the pages, before stopping at a page, where DRAUGHT OF
EVOCATION is typed with big letters and a lot of handwritten information beneath it.
Eventually decides to drink the potion, instantly starts groaning in a pain holding his|her head, as if it was going to
explode. Out of him|her a soul slowly appears, looking around on its own, before finally stopping at Alexander|Sheena.
You are not Alastair, mortal! the soul bellows, before realizing, that only one of Alastairs blood could summon
exactly that variation of souls: But You have his blood.
Alexander|Sheena has a brief chat with the soul, giving him|her a pointer as where to go to find the portal, which was
sealed that long ago. The soul has a timer, and eventually starts roaring in unheard shrieks, before its quite frankly
decimated.
After getting accustomed to this new situation, he|she sets out to find that sealed portal.
He|She tracks it to be in the other end of town, in a museum, which he|she has the ability to unlock via the keystone he|
she found. After searching within the museum for well over a few minutes, he|she is freightened by a sudden sound, and
presses up against a wall, which only appears to be an illusion, since he|she falls through.
Looking around confusedly, Alexander|Sheena calms down slightly, before walking down the corridor to a new room,
where he|she runs into 3-4 Magus, whom are anything but friendly. [If this is going to be playable, its a survive for X
minutes mission, or so?]
They start bombarding anywhere he|she has been, in an attempt to kill him|her. Hiding behind a stonepillar, which
couldve as well been a statue, he|she regrets even trying to take on this mighty quest before him|her, but quickly
convince himself|herself, that its for his|her twin.
The Magus get extremely close, one having kicked him|her to the ground and charged a mighty ball of magic to totally
annihilate Alex|Sheen, but the keystone lights up, and time stops out of a sudden. It takes a moment to realize, but when
realization strikes, Alex|Sheen quickly gets to his|her feet, and uses the keystone to open a portal into the Realm of
Magi.
[Near-death ability learned! Able to stop time just before dying, to recover. Few seconds of timestop?]

As the portal opens, its clear to Alexander|Sheena, that this is his|her last days living a normal life. As he|she cautiously
walk through the opening to another realm, the Realm of Magi.
The transition to the other realm tears through his|her body and soul, ripping it to shreds before assembling it again as
if it was some sort of DNA-scanner. Nothing seems amiss though, as he|she appears on the other side of the portal.

The portal is about the height and width of a barn on the short side on this side of the marvelous thing, clearly much
bigger than the one he|she made back in the museum. First then does he|she notice, that this must only be a sort of
transition-location, since the portal is on one massive, flying island of rock. In the distance another rock, with a burned
down village-house, is placed alongside a roadsign of sorts.
Peering around, as to find a way across the huge gap between the two flying islands, he|she sees a rockformation of a
bridge slowly slide over between them and simply stopping. He|She sees the cue, as to quickly run across the formation,
in case itd start moving again for some reason, yet it hadnt done so as he|she reaches the other side.
Staring back briefly, he|she keeps walking closer and closer to the burned building ahead. As he|she searches through
it, he|she finds a coat and cowl much like the Magus he|she had encountered back in Earth-realm. He|She takes it on in a
decision to stay quiet and discreet in a world, where nothing could be deemed friendly at first sight.
Inside the ruins he|she finds a journal and a couple of books as well. The journal is a diary, where some pages have been
torn out, others burnt, whole third simply in a shaky unreadable lettering. There are 2 books, one which describes the
journey of a young Magus through incredible obstacles and adventures never mentioned to actually being Alastair, and the other a book filled with information about distinctive animals and wildlife to avoid. Along with all that, he|she
finds a small backpack to carry it in.
Looking at the roadsign outside, he|she is unable to distinguish the names on the sign, so he|she simply walks to his|her
right, where a rockformation is awaiting him|her to walk to the next portal on the other side, which he|she does.
As he|she walks through it, he|she ends up in a more colorful area, with fields of flowers and a city ahead, only known
to him|her as Bhorm, hes struck with a sudden enlightment, that maybe not everything in this realm must be hostile, yet
remains cautious.
No one even questions or finds Alexander|Sheena suspicious, which he|she takes as a queue to start listening in on some
conversations, and even read up on this world. The nearby library, if not the forum, which in this city is merely called a
townshall, is the perfect places for him|her to start.
Within the townshall he|she manages to eavesdrop on the major and a sort of messenger; figuring out, that theres a
new visitor in the main keep long away from here. Managing to stay concealed, he|she makes his way out of the
townshall and into the library; searching for any clue on said keep. He|She finds a book, which gives 3 possible keeps to
infiltrate. Umrin, Hjarl and Mosq.

He|She managed to trick a few Magus, having gained access to the information of a keep long away, where a new
visitor currently was residing probably the twin. He|She asks a Magus how to get there, he gets suspicious, yet is too
depleted of energy to make way there.

He|She starts the journey there, meeting a new friend on the way there, whom acts like a guide for him|her. They find a
carriage towards a nearby village, yet they get ambushed by a group of RiChards.

|
V
They take a portal from a Portal-Magus, and they end up a tad closer (Portal-stones are spread across the land) to the
Keep. It wouldve saved a lot of walking.

They need shelter, food and drinks. Its dark and lurking with RiChards at every corner. They run and run, trying to
reach a village by nightfall.

|
V
They reach the village, and there appears to be some kind of disturbance. They ask by the inn of whats going on, and
they figure out, that there are 2 different factions of Magus the ones, who believe magic is the breath of the Gods,
and the ones, who believe magic is the essence of Earth.

They wake up, and Alexander|Sheena will have to choose between one of the factions, but keep it a secret between him|
her and his|her companion. They have to gain the trust of a portal-Magus, and is sent out to get something for him a
family heirloom which is later revealed to be an ancient artifact. The only things revealed at first is the location and a
name, partially fake.

|
|
V
The ancient artifact, a book, lights up and gives small pieces of undecoded knowledge to him|her, which he|she decodes
along the way. Some of them riddles about future puzzles and obstacles. Hes knocked cold, and the small group are
teleported to a random location.

Wakes up, staring into the face of a female healer-magus, whom explains the parts of the incident she knows about,
which isnt particularly much. She joins up in their journey to free the twin, after being convinced in a quick discussion.

V
Ends up fighting a small squad of Spell Breakers on the way towards Erion, a city which used to sprawl with life, but
has been desolate and abandoned for years. The city isnt totally abandoned however, and he|she is led into a trap,
where he is knocked unconscious.

Wakes up strapped to a bench. Escapes and finds his|her two companions and figure out the whole band are looters.
They walk across all the underground corridors to find an exit, yet finds nothing.

They kill the bandit-lord and find an exit behind his throne, going straight through his treasure chamber, which is not
that- small, and comes out of the whole structure leaving more wealthy, closer to his|her twin and safe from the
looters.
The slots of story will be filled out soon enough. When Im not tipsy/hazy/drunk/whatever
