Global Warming

Global Warming is the average

increase in the temperature of earths
surface.
Global warming occurs as a result of
increased emissions of greenhouse
gases from human activities.
Human caused pollutions and emissions
are the leading cause of global
warming.
Global warming has melted the polar
ice caps, raised the levels of the
Oceans and flooded the earths great
cities.

Air Pollution
Transportation is the largest single
source of air pollution
With the number of vehicles on the
road, we are on the fast lane to
smoggy skies and dirty air.
Air pollution is associated with full
life cycles of Cars and Trucks.
Motor vehicles cause both primary
and secondary pollution.
i) Primary Pollution It is emitted
directly in to the atmosphere.
ii) It results from chemical reactions
between
pollutants
in
the
atmosphere.

Major Pollutants from Motor

vehicles:
Hydrocarbons, Nitrogen Oxides
(NO), Carbon monoxide (CO) and
Sulphor Oxides

Carbon Monoxide (C0)

Sulphor Oxide (SO2)
Hydrocarbons
Particulates

Pollution due to Factory Outlets.

The release of chemicals and particles
into the atmosphere produced by the
industries cause the air pollution.
The discharge of waste water from
commercial and industrial waste into
surface water (Water Pollution)
Soil contamination occurs when
chemicals are released by factories.
The industrial noise cause permanent
hearing damage.

Solar Energy.
Solar energy is a clean alternative
energy source which is good for
planet.
Solar water heating is one of the
major alternative energy for the
future.
It is an energy source, will work for
most Domestic/Industrial and provide
hot water, lighting through out the
year.
