Pittsburgh Penguins (Professional Hockey Franchise) Pittsburgh, PA
Completed internship working in the Penguins Corporate Sales and Marketing department as
well as assisting with the production of Penguins Radio 24/7. (9/15 to 12/15)

Corporate Sales and Marketing responsibilities included: Coordinated game-day


promotions, distributed promotional giveaways, coordinated sponsorship events,
tracked inventories of giveaways and memorabilia.
Penguins Radio 24/7 responsibilities included: Working under extremely tight deadlines,
I acquired post-game sound bites from players and coaches to be aired during live, postgame broadcast. Assisted with the set-up and tear-down of the Pens Radio booth and
equipment for live, on-site broadcasts. Interacted with high-level hockey executives,
local and national media representatives, as well as numerous current and former
players and coaches.

Additionally, working on-call throughout 2013-14, I performed diverse marketing related tasks
during Penguins games and represented various corporate sponsors. Notable tasks included
distributing coupons to incoming fans for Dunkin Donuts and performing in costume as the
Dairy Queen mascot, "Curly," while interacting with fans and posing for on-camera
appearances with the Penguins mascot, "Iceburgh.
Giant Eagle (Retail Chain Grocery Store), Slippery Rock, PA (9/14 to 9/15)

Worked in the stock and produce departments. Monitored incoming shipments of


produce as well as took weekly inventories and placed orders.

McGinnis Sisters (Independent Specialty Grocery Store), Brentwood, PA (6/09 to 8/14)

Stocked shelves, unloaded trucks, performed general maintenance tasks and specific
duties in the bakery, produce and seafood departments. Considered a valued and
versatile employee was asked to return to work during summer months, vacations and
weekends.
