Teacher 9B Student Contract

Created by the students, for the students!

As a Teacher

I will change the seating plan more oftendifferent formations and different students
I will give more time to students who are working hard to complete their work
I will move students who arent working around the room, rather than punishing the whole
group
I will give the option to complete textbook work or worksheets instead of participating in the
interactive work
I will try to not discipline the whole class when it is individual students being disrespectful
I will try to have more engaging and interactive activities in class
I will be more strict with students who are being disrespectfulnot be so nice all the time
I will try to implement more group work when students are working well
I will put up more formula sheetsbasic math, exponent laws, etc.

As a Student

I will work as hard as I can to complete my work in class as well as at homeno complaints.
This means taking home my work and using all available resources to get it done!
I will not interrupt Miss Healy when she is talking or instructing the class
I will work on having confidence in myself and my educationthis includes taking risks and
trying all questionsNO MORE IDK
I will be involved in my work! Working through all questions and listening in class.
I will work to be more organizedbring all supplies to class!
I will not spend the entire class talkingthis includes during instruction, during work time,
and talking over people during discussions. If someone is talking to me, I will ask them to
be quiet or ignore them.
I will stay off cellphonethis includes gaming, texting, and FIDDLING WITH MUSIC ALL
CLASS!

If as a student of this classroom, I decide to break this contract, I will accept the
consequences, which will include the following:
