A story behind Pieta

Pieta is a painting painted by Vincent Gogh. This was before Christmas

In February 1888, Vincent tired and disillusioned with life in the French capital, he moved
to Arles

He went to his friends house .He didnt know what to do with his life. So he

invited Theo, his brother. When he arrived to Pietas house, Theo meets again with his
brother. Vincent asks him to go and buy some medicine for Pieta because she was ill.
Before the day of Christmas, he experienced what was a psychotic episode in which he
threatens Pieta, his friend, with a razor. Of course Pieta reacts really badly. When Theo
returns to Pietas house, he didnt see Vincent and saw Pieta crying. Immediately he asks
her what happened but she didnt tell him, so he started to look for his brother. But he
didnt find him. After one day, Pieta told Theo the problem. He reacted really badly too.
Theo imagines that Vincent was in the gallery painting so they went to look for them. When
they arrived to the gallery, Vincent was there. He was painting two people hanging and that
paint was called Pieta.
When Pieta saw that, she became really pleased so they hug and Vincent shared that picture
in the art museum of France.

Based in Van Gogh painting called Pieta.
