How to fix a Phantom MWI

Do a locate feature on the set (loc feat ext XXXX) and see what type of M/W it is.

If it's a dialled message waiting, look up the Message Waiting-Deactivate code (default =
*91) and dial it plus the extension number, that'll kill the lamp.

If it's a Call-back Message, check the sets COS, enable Multiline Set Voicemail Callback
Erasure Allowed to Yes, then press the Message key and follow the prompts to erase.

Go into ALL the class of service forms that you have defined (except your cos for your
voice mail ports, and make sure you have:

1) Disable Send Message = YES

2) Message Waiting = NO

3) Multiline Set Voice Mail Callback Message Erasure Allowed = YES

These settings will prevent an individual user from arbitrarily setting a "callback"
message plus it will permit someone who has an errantly-set VM MWI light already on to
turn it off themselves.
