1) Why does Robogals interest you? (150 words max)

As an engineering student I am interested in not only learning about
amazing modern technology and methods of programming but also
in promoting these engineering ideas to others. Robogals is an
active and exciting society at the University of Manchester and I
would like to take up an important position in this society. I also
hope to learn from others while being part of the committee as I
believe that this will be important in improving my own team
working and leadership skills.
2) Previous positions of responsibility (150 words max)
As a prefect and a senate at my school, I have represented my
school to many visitors who came to visit us. I have been in charge
of talking to the visitors and leading my group to present the many

innovative technological teaching methods used in my school. I

have also helped in giving tours to the visitors in my school.

3) What skills can you bring to the Committee? (150 words max)
I believe I can be a positive thinker at all times and so I can always
act as a source of motivation for the other committee members.
Diligence is key part of my character and so I always try to get my
work done as quickly and as effectively as possible. I can also deal
with problems in that I can break down the problem into smaller
steps and set myself (and my team members) targets to achieve in
order to handle certain difficulties. I also have certain technical skills
(as well as software skills) and so can help with any problems that
occur with the programming of the robots for example.
