CLIMATE CHANGE

In order for us to understand how climate change, we must understand the basics.
As one of the important discussions of PAGASA held at coliseum on August 17, 2015, one
of the things I like the most is the topic about global warming. It is said that global
warming refers to the increase in the earths mean temperature due to the so-called
enhanced greenhouse effect.
Natural greenhouse effect + Increasing heat-trapping greenhouse gases by humans
= global warming
Greenhouse effect refers to the process by which the gases in the atmosphere
near the surface of the earths trap the heat that is re-radiated by the earths surface
and re-emit it downwards.

Those gases are called greenhouse gases, which are water

vapour, aerosols, methane, nitrous oxides and halocarbons and carbon dioxide.
I learned what the effects of the global warming are. The effects are: changes in
rainfall patterns and evaporations, increase in surface temperatures, increase minimum
temperature during night-time and maximum temperatures during daytime, and lastly,
increase in sea surface temperatures.
So in order for us to lessen the effects the impacts of global warming are: we
should be aware of global warming/climate change issues and help others know about them,
know about recycle, reuse and reduce, plant trees and encourage others to plant too,
conserve water and others natural too, save energy by saving electricity, advocate the use
of renewable energy, and lastly, be an eco-friendly person.
