Starting Point

This map includes the five field trip stops from the urbanization,
human-environment, religious, language and political problem
maps. The field trip starts in Spain, where more people are
moving from rural to urban areas causing urbanization
problems. From there we are taken to Europe, our second stop,
where humans have permanently damaged the ecosystem
causing human-environment interaction problem.
From
Europe, we are taken to China, our third stop, where religious
persecution is a mean to control a fast growing religious group
causing the religious problem. Then from China, we are taken
to Eastern Siberia, our fourth stop, where globalization has
diminished the incentive for native people to continue passing
on their languages causing language problems. Finally from
Eastern Siberia we are taken to West Timor, Indonesia, our last
stop, where there is a decline in the percentage of women in
parliament due to sexism causing political problems.
