Hi William,
1. Your first location is located in the Arctic Ocean, on the Jan Mayen volcanic island, on the border of
the Greenland Sea and the Norwegian Sea. It is on a divergent plate boundaries. It is close to the
fracture zone where the divergent boundaries converts to transform boundaries.
1. It is on a volcanic islands of the Jan Mayan Island Region. The types of features that occurs at that
GPS coordinates are oceanic ridges and rift valley, but you can find volcanic arcs and trenches close
by.
2. The last earthquake that took place was of a magnitude of 4.1 and it occurred on June 30, 2015

1. Your first location is located in the Pacific Ocean, on the Bismarck Sea, north of Papua New Guinea.
It is on the fracture zone where a divergent boundaries and a transform boundaries meets.
2. It is on a volcanic islands of the Bismarck Sea. The types of features that occurs there are oceanic
ridges, rift valley and volcanic arc.
3. The lastest earthquake that took place was of a magnitude of 4.7 and it occurred on June 16, 2015
