Chico Garcia:
Chico Garcia is many things. Chico Garcia is a dog lover, a health nut, a self-professed
techie and a former LSU cheerleader and coach. Chico is also paralyzed from the neck
down. This life changing event didnt deter him. In fact it inspired him to start his own
business, Cajun Organics
Four years ago it was a boating accident that left Chico paralyzed. At the time, Chico was
an LSU cheerleading coach and when the news of his accident reached LSU Athletics,
the department started a fundraising effort called Cheering for Chico. This helped Chico
through a difficult time and tied Chico to the LSU athletic community for years to come.
Chico spent the next few years learning to live with his condition. One of the most
pressing questions at hand was how he could stay healthy while having limited mobility.
One of the ways he found to stay healthy was by drinking juiced wheatgrass. That was
how he discovered his vision for Cajun Organics. Chico believes that everyone could
benefit from having wheatgrass in their life and that Cajun Organics can help you live a
healthy life.
However, Chico doesnt just want Cajun Organics to only provide wheatgrass. Hes
hoping to expand Cajun Organics with many new all natural and healthy products such as
trail mix, almond butter and salsa. Hes determined to create an all-natural business
providing many benefits for those in Baton Rouge and beyond, and he cant wait to share
it with you.
